Two East-West Line stations serve ELTA, and the Cross Island Line will add an interchange at Clementi and a new station at West Coast. This guide sets out where each station goes, what is coming and the roads.
Clementi Station and ELTA
Clementi station (EW23) stands at the heart of Clementi town, beside The Clementi Mall and the Clementi bus interchange. On OneMap its Exits C and D are about 740 metres from the site in a straight line, and the developer’s travel-time table gives about two minutes by car or five by bicycle.
From Clementi, the East-West Line runs west to Jurong East, an interchange with the North-South Line and the gateway to Jurong Lake District, and east through Dover and Buona Vista to Commonwealth, Queenstown, Tanjong Pagar and Raffles Place. The developer’s brochure counts eight stops to the Central Business District.
Dover Station and the Buona Vista Corridor near ELTA
Dover station (EW22) is about 1.3 kilometres from the site, beside Singapore Polytechnic, and one stop further east Buona Vista meets the Circle Line for one-north, Holland Village and the Kent Ridge stations of the National University of Singapore and the Science Park.
| Place | Straight line from the site |
|---|---|
| Clementi MRT station (EW23), Exits C and D | about 740 m |
| Clementi Bus Interchange | about 880 m |
| Dover MRT station (EW22), Exit A | about 1.3 km |
Measured on OneMap (SLA) from the site; walking routes are longer.
The Cross Island Line and ELTA
The second phase of the Cross Island Line will add six underground stations from Turf City through King Albert Park, Maju, Clementi and West Coast to Jurong Lake District. Clementi will become an interchange with the East-West Line and King Albert Park with the Downtown Line, and West Coast will serve areas such as Sunset Way and West Coast that the MRT does not reach today. The Land Transport Authority targets the stations to open by 2032.
Buses and Driving from ELTA
The Clementi bus interchange, about 880 metres away, is the hub for buses across the west, and the developer’s brochure lists routes towards the International Business Park, Science Park and one-north. By car, the developer gives about two minutes to the Ayer Rajah Expressway, which runs along the far side of the site, leading east to the city and west to Jurong and Tuas. The car park of ELTA has 401 lots, five of them with electric-vehicle chargers, and the development offers car plate recognition at the gate. The location page maps the stations.
